The company started its roots in Cambridgeshire in 1997 as a small retail music shop called Upbeat Music. From a small shop in a quiet village near Ely the business rapidly established itself and expanded, moving to premises in Ely itself in 1998 and a year later opening a second store in St Ives near Huntingdon. In February 2003 a decision was made to incorporate the business with the appointment of one director and a company secretary. The business continued to grow until 2004 when for a variety of reasons a decision was made to relocate to South London. As a result of the excellent customer service Fiddlestix provides as a company the business has maintained a number of its Cambridgeshire clients and contacts to this day. Now based in Caterham, Surrey Fiddlestix Limited thrives with support from local teachers, schools and local musicians, both beginners and performers. One of the main assets Fiddlestix can offer the musical community is free experienced advice on almost every area of music from classical instruments like the violin to studio product like microphones. Our huge and broad experience is unrivalled in Caterham and the surrounding area and in the unlikely event that you have a question we can't answer we have a host of contacts we can put you in touch with who will be able to.
As a company we have one ambition....that we become the only company
you need for everything to do with music in the South London and Surrey
area. Whether you are looking to join a band, hire a DJ, buy a guitar,
repair your PA system or simply want to order that piece of music for
your instrumental exam we believe we are the company you should call.

We have nearly fifteen years experience working in the music industry
